it's about time... everywhere...
Papendal Arnhem

The national top-class sports training centre Papendal, the home base of the NOC*NSF, has been an inspiring environment for (top-class) sports people who want to lift their performance to yet a higher level for many years. But Papendal also offers companies, schools and associations with ambitions abundant challenges in the form of sporty top events with allure. From sports clinic to exhibition, from Z@pp Summer Games to school sports day, from training workshop to product presentation: Papendal excels in any area.

Papendal TimePointAt Papendal you can find a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports accommodations. At approximately 160 hectares top-class sports as well as sports for all feel at home. Our terrain disposes, for example, of various sports halls, a martial arts hall, a fitness and power training room, multiple football fields, a football field of artificial grass, an athletics track, outdoor tennis courts, a Pitch & Putt court, a Nordic Walking route and event areas.
The blue (!) athletics track at Papendal is provided with a track master (an electronic pacemaker) and a GPS system. Also as a result of these innovative facilities the (top-class) athlete as well as the regular athlete enjoys training at our track. The athletics track is also provided with illumination so that you can also make use of this inspiring accommodation during the evening hours.

Papendal TimePointThere are two TimePoints at Papendal: at the 500-metre warming up track of the athletics track and at the field circuit at the main road near the athletics track and the football field of artificial grass. The field circuit “Papendal lap” is 2,000 metres long and the route is indicated on the map near the start. A scoreboard is also placed 25 metres after the start. Here, after you pass the TimePoint, you can immediately look at your personal lap time, over and over again, each and every lap. This way you can compare the lap times or retrieve them at another moment via MyChampionChip.com. The information is interesting to, for example, compare with previous lap times or with the lap times of other runners.
Of course it will also be possible to use the TimePoint as the point of departure and then run your own training route in the nearby nature reserve De Veluwe to then return to have the total training time registered by the TimePoint.
